It’s a home away from home that grew out of a holiday chalet with a kiosk and has been lovingly cared for by generations with hospitality in their blood. Today, Alpine cosiness, honest cooking and convivial moments all come together here.
Hotel Alpfrieden – main house
This is where it all began, with a simple chalet and plenty of pioneering spirit. Today, a charming house welcomes you with 24 cosy rooms, a sun terrace with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and a dining room where generations of guests have eaten, laughed and shared stories. No frills, but lots of character.
Hotel Alpfrieden – annex
Perfect for anyone who likes things simple and uncomplicated. The 12 rooms are simple, charming and budget-friendly, with everything you need for restful days in Bettmeralp. Bathrooms (showers and WCs) are shared on the same floor. Breakfast, dinner and good conversation happen, as always, in the main house.

For decades, we’ve been spoiling our guests with traditional dishes, seasonal specialities and honest service that comes from the heart. Whether you sit inside in the cosy restaurant or out on the sun terrace with a view of the majestic mountains, a meal here becomes an experience.
Aurora Hall
Bright, welcoming and full of character: our banquet hall is so much more than a room to eat in. Breakfast with a mountain view, candlelit dinners, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries or company events – for generations, this has been a place where people meet, stories are shared, glasses are raised and fine menus are enjoyed. A room full of memories, served with genuine Alpfrieden hospitality.
Dance Club & Bar Alpfrieden
When the sun disappears behind the peaks, the lights go up in our dance club, famously known since its early days as the «Spycher». People have been dancing, laughing and raising a glass here since the ’60s. This place isn’t just buzzing – even the odd ibex has been spotted on the dance floor.
Snow Bar Alpfrieden
Our snow bar is the perfect pit stop for sun-seekers, skiers and après-ski fans. A drink in your hand, the sun on your face – that’s all you need for that Alpine high.
